Future Tech Talk for the 600th-year anniversary of KU Leuven

In the occasion of the 600th-year anniversary of the foundation of KU Leuven, IMEC opened its doors to the general public, to visit the facilities where the future of miniaturized technology is made. In this context, IMEC organized a series of talks, the Future Tech Talks to showcase what the future holds for us in terms of technological advancements. Giacomo Carrara (UGent) was invited to give a presentation about security in the quantum era and how to protect from the threath of quantum computers. The talk was a great success, with around 100 people attending and asking curious questions about quantum cryptography. We thank the organizers for the invitation and for chance to inform the general public about the wonders of quantum technology!
